Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Brewery Assistant. In this role, you will work alongside our head brewer and assist in all aspects of the brewing process, from recipe development and ingredient preparation to fermentation and packaging. The ideal candidate will be a team player, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of the brewing process, including recipe development, ingredient preparation, brewing, fermentation, and packaging.

• Clean and sanitize brewing equipment and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

• Conduct routine quality control checks on kombucha throughout the brewing process.

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and notify head brewer of any shortages or issues.

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and promote new releases.

 

Desired qualities:

• Ability to follow recipes and procedures.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• A desire to create positive change in your community.

 

Other desirable qualifications, but not required:

• Experience working in a commercial food related environment.

• Food handlers certificate

• Ability to work flexible hours.

This position will start June 1st and go till September 1st.  There is also opportunity to stay on full time after the summer.
